How does the calculator work out calories?
The calculator works by first finding out your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is the number of calories that your body needs in order to fulfill basic bodily functions. From there we take into consideration your activity level and goals and apply the relevant increase or decrease in calories required for your chosen goal.
